Snack time doesn't have to be "down" time. I have students practice labeling and graphing with certain snack foods.
I've used Rainbow and Different Shape Goldfish. Fruit Snacks also work well.
You can label based on color or shape.
Students are engaged because they get to enjoy a snack after they finish their work!
